Safety

We are committed to offering our guests an amazing riding trip. We ask our guests to follow our guide’s instructions in order to make the experience as safe as possible. We operate in some remote areas and despite our efforts and safety plan we all share a certain level of risk. It is up to us as a group to be cautious and thoughtful out there on our wilderness trails!

Our Guides are experienced professionals with training in Advanced first aid, mountain rescue, and mountain bike instruction techniques. Each group is led down the mountain by at least 2 guides.

Most emergencies can be handled in the field with the equipment your guides carry in their packs. The Van carries additional safety and first aid equipment along with tools, a spare bike, clothing, and extra food.

There is constant radio contact between your Guides and the Van Driver, as well as our lodge. In the event of a major mechanical breakdown with our Van we have trucks to fall back on for transportation. Weather permitting, a helicopter can be available within half an hour to transport an injured rider to the hospital.
